The Sania Mirza, Shoaib Malik and Ayesha Siddiqui love triangle- Another Stupid reason for Indo Pak relations to be questioned- Manish Padhi

When the name Sania Mirza comes to my mind, the first image that comes upon me is the picture of a young sixteen year old girl at the Delhi airport returning from winning the Junior Wimbledon Doubles title, there were more than 5000 people at the airport to receive her, these  things were giving me a clear indication about what stardom and pressure this young girl is going to face in the coming years, not only the reason because she is a championship winner but also because she is the first person, let alone woman to achieve what no men tennis player could not achieve in the span of 40 years since the country has been involved in tennis . in the coming years Sania proved to the world her worth by breaking into the top 40 in the world only at the age of 19 and doing it in style with beating the likes of kunvessova on the way. Her first major victory came at the Hyderabad open infront of her home crowd where she became the youngest Indian to win a major tournament at any level. This was truly an achievement. The years have passed, sania’s brilliance still shows on the court when she tries to tear open any opponent with her brutal forehand. Now the young girl who i first saw at the airport, is on the verge of getting married to one of the most eligible bachelors of Pakistan, Shoaib Malik.

The name Shoaib Malik is a very familiar name for any cricket lover, as he has been one of the most successful Pakistani captains that they have had. His showing with the bat and ball in the past has proved what an allrounder he can be and how terrific he is on the field. But now things   don’t look good for him, and now he has been banned from playing cricket for one year for allegations of match fixing and indiscipline chargers on the tour to Australia earlier this year where Pakistan were simply outclassed in all formats of the game. Shoaib Malik is using this time to get more settled in Life and what better way to do is get married and have a support with him during his torrid time out of cricket.

It was announced almost a week ago that the two planned to get married on 15 april at the Taj in Hyderabad, when I saw the news that night, i was shocked to see how this happened but was happy that this is taking place as it is also trying to make a political statement on the behalf of the two countries who are in crisis in world of terrorism. Their marriage was taken very positively by the Indians as they have wished her all the best for the future and also wishes that they have a happy married life. It was also announced that the couple would settle down in Dubai, and not in India or Pakistan to avoid controversy. Everyone was happy and the marriage was going according to plan, even the people in Pakistan were taking the news so joyfully that they were dancing the streets of Karachi, where shoaib resides currently. Everything was going smoothly when just a couple of days back, an unknown woman called Ayesha Siddiqui came out in the press and said that she was married to Shoaib Malik and is his first wife, and his marriage to Sania was Illegal. She wasn’t asking for any justification but was asking for a simple divorce from shoaib Malik. When the news spread aroud the country, the media went crazy in the country and all news channels were updating this stroy live, when shoiab was asked about this in Pakistan, he gave a long statement giving his justication.

He said that in 2000, when he was just 18 years old and had started playing cricket, he had received a phone call from a girl claiming to be from Saudi Arabia, saying she is a big fan of shoaib and found him very cute, the couple started talking almost everyday and even exchanged email Id’s where they would chat for long hours and would enjoy it with each other. Ayesha also would send pictures of herself to Shoaib asking him if she was pretty or not. After one things led to another, Ayesha asked Shoaib to marry her as now she has shifted back to Hyderabad with her family, shoaib feeling very scared about telling this to his parents because she being Indian, decided to hide this from them but when and told his brother in law Imran Khan Zafir. Then one fine day in 2002, shoaib went out of the house to his friends store and did a telephonic nikaah with Ayesha. after telling his parents about the situation and telling then that he had married Ayesha even without looking at her, this angered Shoaibs parents and they told him to go and see her in Hyderabad. In 2004, when the Pakistan team toured India for a test and one day series, shoaib won the player of the match in Hyderabad and even said at the post match press conference that this is very special for him as his wife belongs to Hyderabad. After the match, when the Pakistani team was invited to the Siddiqui’s house for dinner, Shoaib was told that Ayesha had left for the United States the day before for urgent work. This angered Shoiab but he didn’t react the way he wanted too. During that time he met her Ayesha’s  Maha Apa  who showed Shoaib around Hyderabad in the days that followed and even clicked pictures together. The following year when Shoaib visited India again, he was told that Ayesha had put on alot of weight and did not want to show her face to shoaib hiding herself from embarrassment and had flown back to Saudi Arabia,  this angered Shoaib and his brother in law and they returned back disappointed. Til now, after thre years of marriage shoaib malik still hadn’t seen or met his wife. The controversy cleared when his some relative in Saudi Arabia told him that there is a woman who claims to be his wife. When Shoaib came and had a look. He got to know the woman claiming to be his wife was Ayesha’s Maha Apa. This angered Shoiab and he left the place throwing harsh words at Ayesha who all this while was pretending to Maha Apa. Then the years went by and Shoaib decided to have no contact with Ayesha and now when it is said that she is claiming to be his wife, it has created a new controversy for Shoaib.

Shoaibs justification was taken positively by the media and it was said that he was proving his innocence in a very charming manner.  But when Ayesha filed an Fir against Shoaib and accusing of fraud and harrasement, the entire nation was shocked. Shoaib currently in Hyderabad getting ready for the wedding, came out on a press conference to prove his innocence by saying that a telephonic nikaah does not exist anymore and his marriage to Ayesha is lie and there is no need for a divorce at all because since they have not been married, how can there be a divorce.  Shoaib has decided to take on Ayesha challenge and is ready to go to court and prove his innocence and wants to get his name cleared from the Banjara Police stations Fir list. With Ayesha crying in every interview she is giving to the media, it is not at all helping her cause and she was also declared war against Shoaib, she has gone to this extent by saying that she is coming with a vengeance.

As the war between the two is heating up, media is turning it into a battle between a Pakistani boy and an Indian girl, and whoever wins will have justice. Sania’s family is in full support for Shoaib saying that they know the truth and trust Shoaib completely. With the wedding to be taking place on April 15^th at the Taj in Hyderabad, the media calling it the Veer- Zaara wedding of the year, in Assosciation with a legendary Shahrukh Khan film. If shoiab is proved guilty, he will have to file for divorce and settle with the terms and conditions set by Ayesha and her family. If Shoaib proves innocent, then he will happily marry Sania on the 15^th of April and create History in the world of Sport between the two countries. The bets are being placed and people are betting upon if the marriage will take place on the 15^th or not and people are said to win half a million dollars if there bet comes true. If Ayesha is proved guilty then the stock market will rocket up and people will make more money on that very day and it will be a very embarrassing situation for Ayesha and also a very Embarrassing issue for this country, where fraud and betrayal are going hand in hand.  This country should not be embarrassed because of this girl, and it will be more humiliating for the people as they do not want to lose to a Pakistani, be it at war, on the cricket field, or even being in interfering in other peoples lives.
