Movie Review:Back to the Future

I am writing a review on the movie “Back to the Future” directed by Robert Zemeckis. The lead actors of the movie are Michael J.Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson. It is a Sci-fi movie. The year 1985, a boy named Marty McFly goes to the year 1955 and stops the meeting of his parents accidently and which risk the presence of his future.  

Marty McFly a Seventeen year boy lived in Hill Valley with his parents and his siblings Dave and Linda. His father (George) was always being bullied by Biff Tannen, his supervisor and his mother Lorraine had a drinking problem. Dave has a girlfriend, Jennifer who all ways encouraged him in being a musician which was his dream. Marty had a scientist friend (“Doc”) who wasted most of his life on a time machine. The time machine was a DeLoren DMC-12 car. The Doc called Marty to the super-market’s parking lot to show Marty how his time machine works and he also show the “flux capacitor” which made time travel possible. The time machines needs to generate 1.21 gigawatts for time travel. The doc got plutonium from a bunch of Libyans and they found the doc in the Super-markets parking lot and kill the doc.Marty took the time machine to escape the Libyans but in the process he activates time travel and he goes to the year 1955 from the 1985.He meets his father (George) as a teenage boy and his mother as a teenager (Lorraine) who has a crush on Marty. Marty goes to the doc and  convinces him that he had from the future and doc asks him if that he spoke to anyone as he could alter the future but Marty had already alter it .The doc also told Marty that he could not go to future as Marty was telling the doc that he needed plutonium and the doc told him it was very difficult to get it .Later Marty remember about the flyer which a women gave him in the year 1985 that the clock tower was struck by lightning and the clock tower stopped working so the Doc got an idea to use the power of lighting from the clock tower to generate the power. The lighting was going to strike a week later so Marty could get his parents together so it won’t endangered his existence. Marty speaks to George and tells him that he should take Larraine for the school dance but Larraine wasn’t interested in going for the dance with George as he was not a strong guy and was always bullied by Biff and his friends. Marty makes a plan so that George can go for the dance with Lorraine but the plan is interrupted by Biff and friend so to get her back George had to fight him and he did fight biff and takes her for the dance and kisses her. Marty meets both of them and talks to them and leave the school and going to the time machine .Marty slips a letter into the docs jacket but the doc finds the letter and tear the letter in front of Marty telling him that his future should be alter gives a letter. Marty had to go at the speed of 88 miles per hour and had to touch the wire which was connected to the clock tower. Marty had made a small modification which was, he reached early so that he could save the doc but by the time he reached the super-market he was late. The doc was already shot but when he went to the doc, he found out that the doc was wearing a bullet-proof vest and the doc showed Marty the letter .The doc drops Marty a his place and the next day he wakes up he find a lot of change in his family .His brother is a business man, his sister is happy, his mother be more confident of herself and is happy and his father is a science-fiction author. Marty finds Biff cleaning the car and in good terms with his father. Marty’s parents gift him a car for his school dance so he could take his girlfriend to the dance in the car. Marty when he meets his girlfriend he is really happy seeing her as he didn’t meet her for a week but his girlfriend found it weird as she had meet him just yesterday. The doc comes from the future and took both of them to the future.

I really liked the movie as it was very interesting story and it have been really difficult for the maker to make the movies as it was shoot in 1985 so the technology would not be really great but the they had done the movie really well. My favorite part of the movie is when the George punches Biff .I is my favorite scene as George finally get the courage to fight back and in the future it made a lot of difference to his life.
