Blind faith

All of us who professionally use the mass media are the shapers of society. We can vulgarize that society. We can brutalize it. Or we can help lift it onto a higher level. All media exist to invest our lives with artificial perceptions and arbitrary values. The media tends to report rumours, speculations, and projections as facts. How do the media do this? By quoting some "expert". You can always find some expert who will say something hopelessly hopeless about anything; and you will still find the masses following his words and advice with a blind faith. In today’s world people cannot live without Mass Media and with the help of technological improvements to send messages to the masses is becoming easier and easier. As we are showered with tons of advertising, information and other sort of materials by the different types of Mass Media its influence in our everyday life styles has subtly become very hazardous in nature. So the burning question then remains: Is media really responsible for this deterioration or is it just the blind faith of the so called literate and sophisticated masses?
